Connect WhatsApp Business

Send WhatsApp messages to customers through Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API.

   At developers.facebook.com create an app of type Business and add the WhatsApp product.

   Under WhatsApp → API Setup note the Phone number ID. For lasting use, make a permanent token: Business Settings → System users → Add, give it the app, and Generate token with whatsapp_business_messaging.

   To message people who have not written to you in the last 24 hours, create a message template under WhatsApp Manager and wait for Meta to approve it.

   In the builder, drag the app's step from Apps in the step library onto the board, open it, and under Connection choose New….

   Give the connection a name (e.g. "Sales team"), paste what you copied and press Save on this computer. Choose the action and fill its fields; {{row["Column"]}} uses a value from the current row. Use Send an approved template for first contact; Send a text only answers within 24 hours of their message.
