Connect Telegram

Send yourself or a group a Telegram message from an automation — free, and on your phone in seconds.

   In Telegram, message @BotFather, send /newbot, choose a name and a username ending in "bot". Copy the token it gives you.

   Send your new bot any message (or add it to a group and send a message there).

   Open https://api.telegram.org/bot<your token>/getUpdates in a browser: the number after "chat":{"id": is the chat id.

   In the builder, drag the app's step from Apps in the step library onto the board, open it, and under Connection choose New….

   Give the connection a name (e.g. "Sales team"), paste what you copied and press Save on this computer. Choose the action and fill its fields; {{row["Column"]}} uses a value from the current row. Put the chat id in Chat id.
