Data entry automation with Celers
From a spreadsheet into any web form
Name your columns like the form's fields and Celers fills the form once per row: text, dates, dropdowns, radio buttons, tick boxes and file uploads, then presses the button and checks the page confirms.
Matched by label
First name, Email, State: each column finds the field a person would call by that name, on ordinary forms and Google-Forms-style ones.
Every kind of field
Dropdowns and radio buttons by their option text, tick boxes by yes/no or by name, dates in the form the field wants, files by path.
Checked, not assumed
A row whose page never says it worked ("Thank you") is marked failed in the results, so nothing is silently missed.
Behind a login
Add the sign-in steps before the loop; the password comes from this computer's credential store.
How data entry automation works in Celers
- 1Open Templates and choose Excel rows into a web form.
- 2Give the form's address, your sheet and the button.
- 3Run one row first.
- 4Run the rest.
Questions
- Do my column names have to match exactly?
- No: First Name, first_name and FIRST NAME all find the First name field. Columns the form does not have are listed, not typed anywhere.
- Can it fill Google Forms?
- Yes, including its radio buttons, tick boxes and dropdowns.
